Memory Ornament Purchases Support Making Spirits Bright

Continuing the tradition, a unique, personalized holiday ornament can be purchased at Quarryview Center to support Making Spirits Bright

SHEBOYGAN, WI—November 26, 2019—The 2019 memory ornament for sale at Quarryview Center is a festive Christmas tree. Each year a unique ornament design is offered for sale for $15 and includes the option to personalize with the year, individual’s name and the words “in memory.”  This year’s ornament takes the shape of a Christmas tree complete with a bright yellow star topper, red berries, and a white ribbon held by birds.2019 Ornament

This is the eighth year an ornament is offered with Making Spirits Bright and continues the tradition begun by the Festival of Trees event that no longer takes place. The tradition of the Memory Ornament started over 23 years ago. There are many people that look forward to purchasing an ornament every year. It touches their hearts and gives them comfort in remembering their loved one. Some, have bought ornaments through the years, that span family generations. Those who choose to can have their ornament displayed on the commemorative tree inside Quarryview Center, near where Santa sits.  The commemorative tree is on display through December 14 when ornaments can be picked up.  Many people have begun a collection of these specialty ornaments and look forward to the annual design.

To order the 2019 Memory Ornament, complete the order form found on the web site:, in a Plymouth Review newspaper ad, in the Making Spirits Bright event booklet on page 17, or stop by Quarrview Center any Friday through Sunday night (5-9 PM) from Nov. 29 through December 8. The events at Quarryview Center are part of Making Spirits Bright.  At the Quarryview you can purchase the memory ornament, begin a trolley rider, visit and take photos with Santa, enjoy free musical entertainment, enter the raffle for designer wreaths, and purchase concessions.  Quarryview Center is open every Friday through Sunday, 5:00-9:00 PM, November 29-December 22.
