Making Spirits Bright was incorporated on March 7, 2013 and was granted 501(c) (3) status on October 23, 2013. A Board of Directors was established in April 2014 for the purpose of managing the business affairs of the corporation.
While the Making Spirits Bright Steering Committee manages all displays and activities of the event; the board approves and monitors the annual budget, updates insurances and licenses and oversees the general operation of the non-profit organization.
